Fall is here and many of us are already lacking sunlight. Today I’m going to sprinkle some sunlight on you with this sunny kitchen project by a Vietnamese architect.

At first glance, the Boxter Plaid Duvet Cover + Sham set from PB Teen is a typical plaid, but soon you realize that it‘s a subtle take on the grid, which has made a big comeback in recent years! One great quality of PB Teen bedding: its twin-sized duvet cover fits both standard twin and twin XL dorm mattresses!
Exquisite and Classy Amadeus is a bed that is a showstopper in every sense of the word! Designed by Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi, the frame of this gorgeous bed is clad in plush leather, and you have a choice between synthetic and soft versions. It is a bed design where the headboard makes the biggest visual impact and adds pattern to the contemporary space without ever seeming out of style.
Do not forget that small plants can add just as much interest as large ones. In this bedroom makeover from A Beautiful Mess blogger Laura Gummerman, small plants rest on a shelf above the bed, while a larger snake plant sits on a pedestal in the corner. See the full makeover (and more plants) here: For some, changing the color palette of the bedroom makes all the difference! What’s your idea of soothing? A white background dotted with candy-colored accents? Or do you like to keep it soft and simple with minimal tones? Peach is the perfect counterpart to the light blue bedding below. The combination of pastels evokes the feel of a tropical vacation.
A beautiful sky-blue bedroom should always be well-lit! The walls feel like they are cradling the room and the experience within is made perfect by the illuminating sunlight!
If you have great love for magnificent antique dining rooms, you know that a rug is an irreplaceable decor element that has the power to make or break the room. The safest option is to go with a rug that fully matches the rest of the rustic furniture, but if you aren’t afraid to create a slightly daring look, pick a rug that is proudly showcasing some color!
When buying sheets, also consider the weave. Do some quick research to determine which type of weave (sateen, percale, etc.) is best for you. For example, percale is known for its refreshing, crisp feel, making it a great fit for those living in warm-weather climates.
Serve It Up! Let‘s begin by highlighting some top trends in fall serveware. In Crate & Barrel’s Late Fall 2016 catalogue, the following description appears: “Still life comes to life. The art of an early fall party? Simple flavors and seasonal presentation. Wood grain, watercolor leaves and a gleam of rose gold flatware.”
Richly Neutral tones take center stage in our second featured palette, but these neutrals are anything but dull. Just as layering black and grey can create a rich, dark look, layering neutrals such as grey and beige can add depth to your table. Don’t hesitate to pile on the greenery and produce for a bountiful feel. Start by choosing a tablecloth that will create an intriguing backdrop. Will the neutral tone be deep grey, or a lighter shade such as taupe or stone?
